Donald L. Haley Memorial Scholarship
Donald Haley was appointed to the Kankakee Board of Trustees in 1970 and served until 1993. Mr. Haley realized the importance of an education at an early age. He resided in Ford County and in order to be able to afford to attend high school, Donald drove a school bus to Collum High. He picked up students along his route from the east area of Collum. His future wife was one of those students. Both Mr. and Mrs. Haley highly value education and that, along with honoring Donald Haley's service to the KCC Board of Trustees, were the main reasons the family continues to offer the scholarship. |

The Earnest M. Hardison Memorial Agricultural Scholarship was created by Jeff & Marvilene Quigley in memory of Earnest M. Hardison. This scholarship is designated to benefit new or returning students from an unserved population in the business or accounting departments with a 3.0 GPA who present financial need.

Florence McMullen Workforce Development Scholarship
The Florence B. McMullen Workforce Development Scholarship was established in 2008 by her daughter, Dr. Kay Green and son-in-law, Don Green, and her two grandchildren, Susan Green Lopez and Steven Green, to provide financial support for women students attending KCC. Dr. Kay Green was the former superintendent of Kankakee School District #111 and Donald Green a former KCC Trustee and four-term mayor of the City of Kankakee.
This scholarship is designed to help new or returning KCC students with at least a 3.0 GPA and who have expressed financial need. This scholarship also requires three letters or recommendation supporting the applicant's character. |
